SELECTION OF HAND BIDET MIXING VALVES
Warm water hand bidet installations are usually divided into two categories. All of our hand bidets would fit into the below categories. A mixing valve is used with this installation. A manual mixing valve operates in a similar manner to your bathroom sink faucet that mixes the hot and cold water. We also have thermostatic mixing valves that will adjust the temperature automatically once you select the temperature setting. The two types of installations vary in where the mixing valve will be located.
CATEGORY 1:
Installation of mixing valves on the side of a bathroom sink cabinet.
The mixing valve will be mounted on the side of the cabinet on the same side as
the toilet. Hot and cold water connections are on the inside of the cabinet.
CATEGORY 2:
Installation of mixing valves on the sidewall next to your toilet. With
this type of installation there is a dedicated hot and cold water coming from
the wall about 24” above the floor.
Below are the steps required
for each category:
Category 1: Mixing valve 403 or 406 below would
be used. Both are thermostatic mixing valves.
