Will this Bidet fit my toilet?

At Sanicare, we have made this an easy Two Step process. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call at 800-878-4791.

First, you have to determine whether you have a 1-piece or 2-piece toilet. A 1-piece toilet, as shown below,  is a toilet tank and bowl cast during the manufacturing process as one seamless unit.  The result is a sleek toilet with no crevices between the tank and bowl. A 2-piece toilet has a separate tank and bowl that are bolted together upon installation.

      Toilet Fit for 1-Piece Toilets:

There are restrictions on the type of bidets that will fit these toilets, so to be sure we suggest you call or email us with your make and model. If you're unable to find the model number, please call us at 800-878-4791 for assistance.

      Toilet Fit for 2-Piece Toilets:

Virtually all bidet seats we carry will fit all 2-piece toilets.

This step shows you how to measure your toilet to determine if it's a round or an elongated size.

Measuring the clearance between the bidet seat and the toilet tank:

Measure the distance from the front of the water tank to the center of dotted line 'B' as shown below. There must be at least 1.75 inches (or more) of clearance for the bidet seat to mount properly.

In the unlikely event that your measurement is less that 1.75 inches, the please call us at 800-878-4791 so we can discuss the make and model of your toilet.

Measuring the length of your toilet bowl:

All our bidet seats come in two sizes: Round or Elongated.

  • Round Seat - The 'A' dotted line measurement of 17 inches or less from the middle of the two seat bolts to the outside front of the bowl (exactly as shown in the below picture).
  • Elongated Seat - The 'A' dotted line measurement of 17 inches or more from the middle of the two seat bolts on the back edge of the toilet (exactly as shown in the picture below).
